Its light weight is due to the strong aluminum alloy. It is also a perfect choice for travel and nature photography. Camera threads down onto the standard 1/4 inch thread used by most cameras. Ball head is removable with a 3/8 inch thread under the head for compatible with most other heads made by Beike QZSD.
