When using Light Mode, this Macro Ring Flash can also be turn on to provide constant lighting for Video Shooting or Special Macro Photography need. You can use left half of the flash or right half of the flash by pressing the mode button.
The Meike FC-100 LED Macro Ring Flash is the perfect choice for photographers who require shadow free illumination. It is designed for close up, macro, medical, scientific and forensic photography as the flash light source is positioned directly between the camera lens and subject thus providing an even illumination without shadow. The flash has 7 levels of luminace to choose from. When using Light Mode, this Macro Ring Flash can also be turn on to provide constant lighting for Video Shooting or Special Macro Photography need. There is also a L and R Mode to switch between the left half or the right half of the flash.
The Meike LED Macro Ring Flash comes with 40.5mm 52mm, 55mm, 58mm, 62mm, 67mm, 72mm and 77mm adapter rings. Thus, you can attach the Ring Flash to almost all Nikon lenses.
Below image of the rose was taken indoor, set to an exposure compensation of -2 stops. Despite no TTL function with the Meike Ring Flash, all is required is to experiment a little wth the exposure compensation of your camera and you can achieve pleasing result. As seen with the use of the flash, you can capture the natural pink colour of the rose with shadow free illumination.
